Loid comes back to WISE without having fully recovered, and Fiona’s apology about the thin intelligence on Donovan is the chapter’s one piece of espionage plumbing — the mission is still stalled, and the series is being explicit that the problem is information, not ability. That is the pressure the domestic material in the second half is quietly running against.

The Eden Academy stretch of chapter 140 did two things. It gave Anya a goal of her own — finding something that would help Loid’s stomach — and it put Damian in a position where he helps her despite himself, which the chapter treats as a milestone rather than a joke. Yor arriving home with her own handful of herbs closes the loop: three people independently deciding to look after the same person, none of them able to say why it matters to them.

What chapter 141 inherits is a series at a genuine fork. One branch is the Donovan investigation, where the last clear information the reader got is Sylvia warning against assumptions — which is the closest the manga has come to suggesting the target may not be what Operation Strix has assumed. The other branch is Damian, who has now been shown twice choosing to move toward Anya and has done nothing yet about his own father.
